I'm Anna. Ever since I was little, the kitchen was home to me. I grew up in a family where food was of the upmost importance and many of my sweetest memories have distinct flavors and smells attached to them. My love for all things culinary took me to pastry school and then into the fast-paced, stainless steel world of fine dining. It was there that I honed my skills and immersed myself in creativity. Now, I develop recipes to share with those around me. I teach fundamental baking and pastry skills and create desserts that showcase unique flavors and seasonal ingredients in new ways. I write to share the food that shaped my stories, my day-to-day creations, and to learn about others' experiences through the flavors they bring.

I am a wife, sister, daughter, teacher, writer, reader, and pastry chef. I love Jesus, good wine, the elusive perfect chocolate chip cookie, putting kale in anything I can get away with, friends you can be in your sweats around, exploring new places, sunshine and sandy beaches, fancy cheese, books that you can't put down, hiking, farmer's markets, a good gin and tonic, crime dramas, road trips, and dinner parties.
